13 Ways of Seeing Artificial Intelligence

Vector Illustration

Year: 2023

Referencing Thomas McEvilley's analysis of "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird", we explore different ways of seeing and researches topics from different formal perspectives. The goal of this project is to produce 13 different interpretations of a topic it in various forms such as typography, illustration, or found objects. Each interpretation should highlight a specific "way of looking". The interpretations will be compiled into 13 A7 cards, with an explanation behind each way of looking.

As Artificial Intelligence permeates into society, Artificial intelligence is extremely inspiring as it has the potential to greatly improve our lives and solve some of the world’s most pressing issues. It can help us to make better decisions, automate tedious tasks, and even discover new knowledge, completely changing the new norm. However such perks do not come without its own set of problems.
